What does it mean to honor life—both in me and around me? How do I listen, and what does it mean to show up? These are the questions I return to again and again. They form the ground of my study and my practice. I improvise: in movement, in filmmaking, in the evolving small rituals that shape my days—this is both my life and my art.

I’m most compelled by moments of shared sensing—those rare, resonant experiences in which something essential is remembered, the kinds of truths that live between us and can only be recalled together. I experience art as a context where such moments can be celebrated, studied, and perhaps amplified back into the collective field.

I return often to Fred Moten and Stefano Harney’s idea of Study—a collective practice of thinking, feeling, and refusal—and to Édouard Glissant’s concept of Errantry, a movement through relation rather than destination. Emerging from the Black Radical tradition and anti-colonial thought, these insights not only offer strategies for surviving extractive systems, but also invite us into practices of relationality, improvisation, and living together despite what seeks to divide us.

They inspire ways of being and moving through a troubled world with intention—through relation, beyond capture, and in implicit refusal of the everyday forces that isolate and fragment.

Much of my practice unfolds in solitude—in study, in ritual, in quiet making—but it is always oriented toward relation. I’m working to create contexts where this interior depth can meet others fully. What are the protocols that allow us to bring our inner richness into contact? What makes that safe, beautiful, or transformative?

I’m not interested in winning. I want to exit that logic altogether. I believe in the possibility of another way of being together—one shaped by mutual care, attention, and shared inquiry. As Lauren Berlant writes, intimacy is not separate from the political; it is where the social is made and unmade. I want to live and create from that space.

I live in Berlin, Germany.
